About Skora
Free AI essay feedback, real admission-chance data, and college matching for students.
Why we built this
Most college-prep tools charge for advice that's really just a guess. Skora replaces that guesswork with real government admissions data from the Department of Education's College Scorecard and IPEDS datasets, and it stays free for students, forever.
Parker Fawcett, Co-Founder & CEO
Parker is the co-founder and CEO of Skora, and, like the students who use it, is currently going through the college application process himself.
He works as an AI Skills Engineer on CHG Healthcare's Enterprise Data & AI team, where he builds automated data pipelines for a 60-person division. He was promoted into that role full-time before his junior year. He's also the creator of Rebuild-Dossier, an open-source tool that solves a real, documented problem in AI-assisted coding: getting a model to rebuild something and actually match the original's behavior, not just look like it does. That same instinct, verify instead of guess, is why Skora's admission-chance estimates are built on real College Scorecard and IPEDS data instead of a black-box formula.
Parker founded Code Elevation, a regional coding program for high schoolers, and leads digital marketing for Angel's Hands Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He was selected by Brigham Young University faculty as a case-study subject in a research study on young people building in digital content, automation, and emerging business fields.
